This is the website of the Norwegian Open Source Competence Center, in Norwegian called Friprogsenteret.

Friprogsenteret is an independent competence center for open source and free software. We are working for increased knowledge that enables you to use profitable software to meet the demands of tomorrow, engaging encreased competition in the market, all by the use of free software. Our goal is to initiate innovation and creating new jobs within the IT industry. We are working closely with representatives from the private sector, public sector, universities, colleges and R&D.

Friprogsenteret is founded by The Ministry of Government Administration and Reform and Ministry of Education and Research.
